History Now: Morehshin Allahyari

Morehshin Allahyari, an Iranian born artist and activist, uses 3D printers to bring to life mythological imagery from the Middle East in an effort to represent and claim her cultural identity. In the past she used 3D printers to recreate Syrian artifacts destroyed by ISIS.
